                 Update on Telco Systems


On   3rd   February  2000  BATM  Advanced  Communications
announced  that  it had agreed conditionally  to  acquire
Telco Systems as part of its expansion in North America.

Telco  Systems announced today that BellSouth has reached
an agreement enabling the EdgeLink300 to be used as a new
multi-service  access  solution for BellSouth's  MegaLink
Channelized T1 service.
