British Airways Plc applies to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada
London - November 27, 2007 - British Airways Plc announced today that it has
applied to Canadian securities regulatory authorities for permission to be
deemed to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada.
British Airways' American Depository Receipts were voluntarily de-listed from
the Toronto Stock Exchange in December 2001 and have not traded on a stock
exchange in Canada since that time.
If released from its obligations as a reporting issuer in Canada, British
Airways Plc will continue to publish its continuous disclosure documents,
including its annual report and accounts, in accordance with applicable laws and
regulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of the Financial Services
Authority and the London Stock Exchange. Holders of British Airways Plc
securities resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of continuous
disclosure documents that are required to be delivered to security holders in
the United Kingdom, in the same manner and at the same time as is required under
applicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom, including rules of the
Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange.
