British Airways PLC 14 September 2001 British Airways PLC 14 September, 2001 DIRECTOR CHANGES In accordance with Chapter 16 of The Listing Rules, British Airways announces the appointment with effect from 1 October 2001 of Captain Michael Jeffery as an additional Director to its main Board. Captain Jeffery will hold a non-executive appointment but will chair the Board's Safety Review Committee as predicted in the announcement made on 16 May 2001. Captain Jeffery's interests in the securities of British Airways and other information as required under paragraph 16.4 of The Listing Rules, are below. This appointment follows the retirement of Captain Colin Barnes from the Board on 30 September 2001.
