British Airways Plc ("the Company"): Employee Share Plans - Announcement of transactions in ordinary shares of 25p each

BRITISH AIRWAYS DEFERRED SHARE PLAN

The Company announces that pursuant to the arrangements detailed in our announcement made on 11 December 2007 in relation to Tony McCarthy, being a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR"), 56,317 shares vested and were released to him by the British Airways Employee Benefits Trust (Jersey) Limited on 10 December 2010.

No consideration is payable for the vesting of these awards

The Company also received notification that Tony McCarthy sold 28,823 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company on the London Stock Exchange on 10 December 2010.

This announcement is made following a notification on 10 December 2010 under Disclosure Rule 3.1.2.
