HEADS OF TERMS AGREED FOR EASYJET TO ACQUIRE OPTION TO PURCHASE DEUTSCHE BA

British Airways and easyJet have today completed legally binding documentation
giving effect to the Heads of Terms Agreement previously announced on May 8
2002, under which easyJet has an option to acquire British Airways German
subsidiary, DBA.
