Management changes
Clean Energy Brazil PLC, an investment company focused on Brazil's sugar cane/ethanol industry, announces that it has appointed Mr John Chapman and Trigest Consultoria Empresarial S/C Ltda (acting through its principal Mr Joamir Alves) as advisors to the Company. Messrs Chapman and Alves will assist the directors of CEB with the monitoring and realisation of the Company's remaining investments.
Mr Chapman is a US lawyer with extensive experience in the operation and management of investment funds in developed and emerging markets and is currently a director of a number of quoted investment funds.
Mr Alves is widely experienced in the ethanol and sugar industry in Brazil having previously acted as chief executive of Grupo Dedini Agro, which was acquired by Abengoa of Spain in 2007.
The Company also announces that its current CFO and acting CEO Mr John Koutras will be leaving the Company with effect from 31 March 2010.
