Beazley plc ('Beazley') announces that it has made an application to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 8,231,592 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in respect of the following employee incentive schemes:

Upon issuance these shares, will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. The shares will be allotted from time to time in accordance with the rules of the schemes.

Admission of the block listing is expected to take place on 23 June 2009.
