Director and Company Secretary Appointments
Beazley plc announces that the board has appointed John Sauerland as a non executive director and as a member of the remuneration committee with effect from 5 May 2016.
Based in Ohio, Mr Sauerland is currently the chief financial officer of Progressive Insurance having served in a number of roles across that organisation since 1991.
Beazley's chairman Dennis Holt said "I am delighted to welcome John to the board of Beazley plc. As the US continues to be a strategic focus for the group, John's experience in the US market and skills will complement the board."
Beazley plc has been notified that there are no details to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in respect of Mr Sauerland.
The company further announces that following Sian Coope's retirement as company secretary of Beazley plc, the board has appointed Christine Oldridge as company secretary with effect from 5 May 2016.
