                     Grant of Share Incentives to Directors

The Board of Beazley Group plc announces that the following grants of share
incentives over the Company's ordinary shares of 5p were made on 3rd March 2008
to the under mentioned Directors.

The share incentives under the current awards comprise the following schemes:

Beazley Group plc Deferred Share Plan - ('Deferred Shares')
Beazley Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan - ('LTIP')

Awards have previously been made under the Beazley Group plc Approved Share
Option Plan and the Beazley Group plc Unapproved Share Option Plan. No further
awards are anticipated to be made under these plans.

In all cases there was no consideration for the grant of the LTIP's or Deferred
Shares and the exercise price is nil for all the awards.

The exercise period in respect of grants under the LTIP scheme is from 3 March
2010 to 3 March 2017.
