Beazley plc ("the Company") announces that on 20^th May 2011, Mr Andrew Horton, a director, transferred 19,632 shares to his spouse, Mrs Sophie Emma Horton.  At 20^th May 2011, Mr Horton and his connected persons were interested in 1,061,069 shares, representing approximately 0.2% of the issued share capital of the Company.
