Statement re: Andrew Beazley


Andrew Beazley, Chief Executive of Beazley Group plc ('Beazley'), will be
undergoing medical treatment in the coming months and will therefore have a
reduced day-to-day involvement in the business. During this period Nicholas
Furlonge, co-founder of Beazley, will cover Andrew's responsibilities as Chief
Executive and Chairman of the Executive Committee as and when required.
