Statement re Market Speculation

The Board of Beazley notes the recent media speculation regarding a potential capital raising by the Company.

The Board confirms that it is considering a potential equity fundraising to develop growth opportunities in the current market. There can be no guarantee that the Company will proceed with the capital raising.
