                         Bellway p.l.c. (the 'Company')

                           Block Listing Application


Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for block listings totalling 189,850 Ordinary shares of 12.5p
each ('Shares') to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the
Official List upon issuance.


The Shares will be allotted from time to time in accordance with the exercise of
options under the Company's share option schemes below and are being reserved
under a block listing pursuant to the following schemes:


Bellway p.l.c. (2005) Employee Share Option Scheme   -           153,150 shares

Bellway p.l.c. (2007) Employee Share Option Scheme   -            36,700 shares


When issued the Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued Shares of
the Company.
