DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDINGS

Employee Share Option Scheme, the following directors of the company, yesterday
exercised options over 78,000 Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares as follows:

at a price of 880p per share and Mr Stoker sold 5,500 Bellway plc 12.5p shares
at a price of 879p per share.

the ordinary share capital of the company are as follows:
