Bellway plc - 25th September 2000
The company was informed on Friday 22nd September 2000 that on the same day
the Executors of the Estate of Mr A K Bell (who include Mr P J Stoker, a
director of the company) exercised options over 25,500 Bellway plc 12.5p
ordinary shares under the terms of the Bellway plc (1995) Employee Share
Option Scheme at a price of 243.50p per share.
Immediately thereafter, the Executors sold all of the shares at a price of
253p per share.
Mr A K Bell died on 28th September 1999 and under the terms of the Bellway plc
(1995) Employee Share Option Scheme the Executors of the Estate of Mr A K Bell
have one year from the date of death to exercise any outstanding share
options.
Following the above transactions, the Executors of the Estate of Mr A K Bell
hold options over 246,939 (272,439) Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares.
Mr P J Stoker, only in his capacity as one of the Executors of the Estate of
Mr A K Bell has a beneficial interest in those outstanding options.
Mr P J Stokers' other interest in the share capital of the company remain
unchanged.
