DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS
The company was today informed that under the terms of the Bellway plc (1996)
Employee Share Option Scheme, Mr H C Dawe, a director of the company today
exercised his option to purchase 70,000 Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares at a
price of 305p per share. Immediately thereafter, Mr Dawe sold the same number
of shares at a price of 426p per share.
In addition, the company was yesterday informed that under the terms of the
Bellway plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme, Mr A G Robson, a director of
the company, yesterday exercised his option to purchase 3,371 Bellway plc
12.5p ordinary shares at a price of 289.2p per share.
Following the above transactions the beneficial shareholdings of Mr Dawe and
Mr Robson in the ordinary share capital of the company are as follows:
