10th July 2003 at a price of 625p per share. Mr Peter John Stoker, a director of
the company, is as an Executor of the Estate of John Stoker Deceased.


Following the above transaction, the total number of Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary
shares held in the Estate is 10,000 (0.009%) (25,000;0.022%).


The other interests of the directors remain unchanged
