following our announcement of 13th December 2006, we would like to notify the
market of the following:

Bellway plc's capital consists of 114,419,888 ordinary shares with voting
rights.  Bellway plc does not hold any shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Bellway plc is 114,419,888.
