BERKELEY RESOURCES LIMITED

On 6 June 2008, Berkeley Resources Limited ('Berkeley' or 'the Company') was notified via the filing of a Form 603 with ASX that Metage Capital Limited as investment manager to Metage Funds Ltd had a registered shareholding as at 4 June 2008 of 8,193,900 shares in the Company representing 7.91% per cent. of the issued share capital.

Berkeley was also notified via the receipt of a Form 605 that FirstRand Bank Holdings Ltd had ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the Company as at 4 June 2008.
