Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange plc for 3,997,757 ordinary shares of 5p each ('shares') to be admitted to the Official List.  

These shares were issued under The Berkeley Group Holdings plc 2004(b) Long Term Incentive Plan on 16 April 2009, as announced by the Company on 17 April 2009.

The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
