Acquisition

Big Yellow Group announces that it has made its first acquisition in the North
of England, in Leeds.

This prominent freehold warehouse is located on Gelderd Road (A52), 1 1/2 miles
south east of Leeds city centre.


The 72,000 sq ft store is anticipated to be open for trading in the summer of
2005 and will involve an investment totalling approximately £6.5m (including
irrevocable VAT).
