Admission to the Official List and to trading on the main market of the London
Stock Exchange

Further to the announcement made on 7 May 2002 regarding the intention to move
from the Alternative Investment Market to the Official List, the Directors of
Big Yellow Group plc ("Company") are pleased to announce that an application has
been made to the UK Listing Authority for all of the ordinary shares of 10 pence
each to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.
Application has also been made for all of the ordinary shares to trade on the
main market of the London Stock Exchange.

It is expected that admission to the Official List and dealing on the London
Stock Exchange will commence on 7 June 2002.
