Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that Adrian Lee, Operations
Director, yesterday exercised an option to purchase 70,000 shares at 100p pence
per share.

He then sold the shares at an average price of 427.24p. His beneficial holding
remains at 827,729 shares representing 0.72% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
