Big Yellow Group PLC (the 'Company') announces that on 23 May, following the exercise of share options maturing from the Company's Save As You Earn Scheme, John Trotman purchased 6,648 shares at an average price of 141 pence per share. 

This increases Mr Trotman's beneficial holding to 24,109 shares representing 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company.
