Director's shareholding

Big Yellow Group PLC (the 'Company') announces that it was informed yesterday
that David Ross, a non- executive director of the Company, acquired 51,200
ordinary shares at 411.37 pence on Friday 14th July.  This increases his
beneficial holding to 9,551,200 shares, representing 8.46% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
