Directors shareholding

Big Yellow Group plc ("Company") announces that it was informed today that
Nicholas Vetch, a director of the Company, has today sold 145,400 ordinary
shares at 87 pence per share.  This results in a total beneficial holding by
Nicholas Vetch of 12,000,000 ordinary shares.

The Company also announces that it was informed today that Philip Burks, a
director of the Company, has today sold 154,600 ordinary shares at 87 pence per
share.  This results in a total beneficial holding by Philip Burks of 11,878,000
ordinary shares.
