Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed today that
David Ross, a non-executive director of the Company, yesterday acquired 8,600
ordinary shares at 179 pence per share. This increases his total beneficial
holding to 3,565,506 ordinary shares, representing 3.56% of the issued share
capital of the Company
