Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed today that 
Jonathan Short, a non-executive director of the Company, today acquired 30,000 
ordinary shares at 220 pence.

He did not previously hold any shares in the Company and so his beneficial 
holding now represents 0.03% of the issued share capital.
