BOARD CHANGES AT BERKELEY BERRY BIRCH PLC ('THE COMPANY')


The Board announces that, further to the announcement on 25 January 2005 that
Craig Butcher, Group Finance Director, had given notice of his intention to
resign to pursue other career opportunities , Mr Butcher has resigned from the
Board by mutual agreement on 9 March 2005.


The Board hopes to name a successor in this role shortly.
