Board Change
Berkeley Berry Birch plc (BBB), the financial services distribution group,
announces that Craig Butcher, the Group Finance Director has decided to leave
the company. Craig has a 12 month notice period and has agreed to stay until at
least the end of the current financial year, 31 March 2004.
Craig has been with the company for the past three and a half years and has now
decided he would like to pursue other interests. The search for a successor is
underway and an announcement will be made in due course.
Commenting on his departure, Executive Chairman of Berkeley Berry Birch,
Clifford Lockyer, said: 'Craig has been instrumental in helping to develop
Berkeley Berry Birch as a truly national financial services distribution group
and has been working with the Board to deliver the operational and financial
objectives of the Group. The recent interim results show what progress we have
made. Craig has been discussing his future with us for some time. He is a
talented young man and is looking for a new challenge to develop his career
further. We will be sorry to see him leave, however he has agreed to stay in the
short term and be fully involved in the selection of his successor.'
