Amco Corporation plc regrets to announce the death of Mr Stuart Gordon,
Executive Chairman on Sunday 4th March 2007, aged 69 years.


Mr Gordon had announced in January his intention to step down from the board of
Amco this year, to be replaced by Mr Peter Hems who joins the Company on 1st
April. As an interim measure, Mr Michael Speakman, non-executive director, has
agreed to delay his planned retirement for the time being and will act as
interim Chairman until further notice.
