TERRY ROBINS TO J0IN BOARD OF NEW STANELCO SUBSIDIARIES
The Board of Stanelco plc announces the appointment of Terry Robins as a
director of two new subsidiary companies being formed to exploit starch foam
technology and edible film technology.
Terry is Senior Packaging Innovations Manager of Sainsbury's Supermarkets
Limited and is solely responsible for new packaging technology, a field in which
he has worked for over 20 years.
Commenting on his appointment, Terry said:
'I am very excited by this move and the opportunity to work with Stanelco on the
development and manufacture of packaging made from starch to make packaging and
edible films. I believe that Stanelco holds the key to a breakthrough in
technology that could be the forerunner of a whole new sector within the
packaging industry.'
Ian Balchin, Chief Executive of Stanelco, said:
'I am delighted that Terry has accepted the offer to join us. He has been
working closely with us during the past year and brings with him a wealth of
experience at a very exciting time in our Company's development.'
