Stanelco plc

The Board of Stanelco plc have noted the announcements made at the AGM of
Bioprogress plc on 21 April 2004 with reference to an appointment of Mr George
Tidy to a senior position in a subsidiary company.  Until recently Mr Tidy, was
an employee of Cardinal Health and had been seconded to assist in managing
certain aspects of the developments being undertaken by Ingel Technologies Ltd.,
a subsidiary company of Stanelco plc.

Subsequent to the Bioprogress announcement, directors of Ingel and Stanelco have
been advised by Mr Tidy that he does not now intend to take up the announced
appointment.
