                  Directors Share dealings - Grant of Options

Stanelco Plc today announces that the following Directors have been granted
Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme share options as approved by shareholders
at the Annual General Meeting on Friday 22 April 2005.

Robert P Boardman was granted options over 1,402,525 Ordinary 0.1p shares on 21
January 2005 for ten years which are exercisable from 21 January 2008 at an
exercise price of 7.13p. Following this grant Robert P Boardman holds options
over 1,402,525 Ordinary 0.1p shares.

Robert E Duggan was granted options over 731,707 Ordinary 0.1p shares on 3
February 2005 for ten years which are exercisable from 3 February 2008 at an
exercise price of 10.25p. Following this grant Robert E Duggan holds options
over 1,842,818 Ordinary 0.1p shares.

Howard White was granted options over 975,610 Ordinary 0.1p shares on 3 February
2005 for ten years which are exercisable from 3 February 2008 at an exercise
price of 10.25p. Following this grant Howard White holds options over 975,610
Ordinary 0.1p shares.
