Board Changes
The Company confirms that, as announced on 26 February 2007, John Standen was
appointed as Chairman of the Company at today's Annual General Meeting ('AGM').
John succeeds Philip Lovegrove, who, in addition to stepping down as Chairman,
has ceased to be a Director of the Company with effect from today.
Stanelco also announces that, in order to comply with the terms of the Company's
Articles of Association, the Company's CEO Paul Mines resigned as a Director of
the Company prior to today's AGM and was reappointed as a Director of the
Company at a board meeting following the AGM. He will stand for re-election at
the next Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2008.
All disclosures regarding Paul Mines previously made in accordance with
paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules or Disclosure Rule 3.1.2R, in the
announcement of his appointment on 13 April 2007, remain valid.
