Stanelco PLC 13 October 2004 13 October 2004 Stanelco in Trials with Oscar Mayer Ltd for use of RF Technology Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to announce that Oscar Mayer Ltd ('Oscar Mayer'), has agreed to trial Stanelco's RF sealing technology for use in tray-lidding machines in its food packaging operations. The technology will be retrofitted into one of Oscar Mayer's Proseal Machines. This will undergo tests, and subject to its success, it will enter into full-scale production across its entire range of tray-lidding machines in the UK. Oscar Mayer is one of the country's leading producers of ready prepared meals, supplying over 3 million meals a week in the UK. The company has 30 tray-lidding machines in 3 locations in the UK. The use of RF technology in tray-lidding is now the core revenue driver for Stanelco, representing the most significant element of future projected revenues.
