FORBIDDEN TECHNOLOGIES PLC
Result of Annual General Meeting
Appointment of Non-Executive Director
At today's AGM, Vic Steel, Chairman of Forbidden Technologies plc ('Forbidden'
or 'the Company') which is creating new technology for video distribution over
the internet, made the following comments:
'This has been an excellent year for the company the highlight of which came
in February through the launch of the initial product enabling video playback
over the internet at high resolution, full frame rate and large screen size.
This is demonstrated by the latest video on our web site at http://
www.forbidden.co.uk
'We have received a high level of interest from a diverse range of video
production companies, as well as web designers and video content providers.
This I believe is a clear indication of the need for an effective method of
delivering high quality video via typical internet connections.
'Our product development rate is a continuous process and our technology
continues to be improved at the rate of approximately 2.5% per week, in terms
of data compression rate. Playback is now achievable across a wide range of
home computers using a standard 56k modem.
'The commercialisation process has commenced and further announcements will be
made shortly.'

having the ingredients to become a world leading company in its field. The
company's technology is unique and is being driven by a highly experienced and
capable team.
'In accepting this position, I was encouraged by the progress made in the
short timescale since the company was formed in February 2000. Clearly,
Forbidden Technologies is delivering on its stated objectives and I have every
confidence that, given the high level of investor and customer interest, once
sales commence the rate of expansion will be exponential.'
