Atos in South Africa moving to next stage
Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT), the AIM-quoted market-leading cloud video platform owner of Forscene, announces that Atos Origin South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Atos) is moving onto the next stage of its use of Forscene. This follows on from the 'First South African public sector sale' announcement published 11 March 2016.
Atos is using the Company's Forscene video platform to support up to 500 students, to be trained in video editing in line with the existing Atos training programme. At the end of their training programme, Atos will select up to 50 students for work experience to be guided by a Forbidden tutor.
This will result in a material amount being added to Forbidden's invoiced sales for the current year. The invoiced income is expected to be recognised in the Company's income statement next year.
Aziz Musa, CEO of Forbidden, said:
"Video editing in the cloud is the future. Our Forscene platform is a leading provider of cloud based video solutions. This is a visionary government educational initiative to educate students with future orientated technologies to build video production capabilities in South Africa."
