FORscene used on The Voice UK by Wall to Wall

Forbidden Technologies (AIM: FBT), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of the market leading Cloud video platform, FORscene, is pleased to announce that Wall to Wall, part of the Shed Media Group,  is using FORscene for series two of The Voice UK for BBC One.

The Voice UK was the BBC's most successful new entertainment launch in over a decade.  FORscene was also used on series one.  For series two, Envy Post Production, the post house used by Wall to Wall, has hosted additional features added as part of FORscene's continuous product development programme.

Over 2,500 hours of series two's content has been ingested. This material was first made searchable and manageable using FORscene's advanced logging functionality.  FORscene was then used to edit sequences and add additional information, via markers, making the platform an essential, integrated part of the post production workflow.

Jai Cave, Head of Operations, Envy Post Production said:

"FORscene played a number of key roles throughout the post production process. During the Blind Auditions the team used FORscene to create edits of each artist's footage, using the new "markers" feature. Having easy access to each artist's timelines, including notes, greatly helped the first few weeks of edit. Then, when editing the material from the Live Shows, the producers could easily search through previous footage on FORscene to create packages showcasing each artist's journey.  They could do this either from Envy or back at the office."
