Gorilla Group chooses FORscene
Forbidden Technologies, the AIM quoted developer of the market leading Cloud video platform FORscene, is pleased to announce today that Gorilla Group has chosen to use FORscene as its logging and rough cut editing platform.
Gorilla Group is the largest post production facility in Wales. Based in Cardiff, Gorilla has helped to post-produce many well known television programmes including Bruce Parry's Amazon and Arctic, Grandpa in my Pocket, Time Team and Whites. Gorilla provide an extensive range of services to programme makers including editing in over 70 edit suites, baselight grading, audio dubbing suites, graphics and VFX, studios, outside broadcasting, camera hire, broadcast lines and satellite links.
FORscene is currently being used at Gorilla on 'Markets', produced by Indus Films, for wide area collaboration in the Cloud. As an integrated part of the Gorilla post production workflow, FORscene will now be accessible to all Gorilla clients whenever they need it and wherever they may be.

Gorilla Group
Gorilla Group is a coming together of Boomerang's in-house post production and technical with Mwnci, their TV Post-Production arm that specialised in editing Film and Video for broadcast facilities. Gorilla, with around 50 staff, is based in three premises in Cardiff; 20 Cathedral Road, 218 Penarth Road and newly expanded facilities at the Media Centre in Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff.
The newly created group provide studios, dubbing, grading, graphics and outside broadcast facilities to programme-makers and producers. Bringing together these businesses under the name of Gorilla created the biggest TV facilities provider in Wales and one of the UK's largest outside of London.
The team at Gorilla have a strong reputation and have helped post-produce such notable television as Bruce Parry's Amazon and Arctic, Grandpa in my Pocket, Time Team and Whites. The enlarged group is better positioned to attract more customers as Producers look for a more comprehensive and efficient television facilities service.
