The Board of Merrill Lynch Commodities Income Investment Trust plc is pleased to
announce that a first interim dividend of 1.0625p per ordinary share has been
declared by the Directors, payable on 28 April 2006 to holders of ordinary
shares on the register at the close of business on 31 March 2006 (ex dividend
date is 29 March 2006).
