Issue of New Ordinary Shares


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for 556,305 Ordinary Shares of 1p each, which have been allotted
pursuant to the proposals to reconstruct Allianz Dresdner Second Endowment
Policy Trust plc.   The new shares will trade on the London Stock Exchange and
be admitted to the Official List. The shares will rank pari passu in all
respects with the existing issued shares of the Company.  Dealings in the new
shares are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 13 October 2006.
