Expiry of the Warrants
The Board of Merrill Lynch World Mining Trust plc today announces that, further
to the announcement made on 3 May 2005, The Law Debenture Trust Corporation
p.l.c. acting as warrant trustee ('Law Debenture') was not, during the
applicable period, advised by financial advisers to, and therefore did not
exercise, any of the subscription rights on the remaining warrants (the
'Remaining Warrants'). Since the Remaining Warrants were not exercised, there
were no shares for Law Debenture to sell under the terms and conditions applying
to the Remaining Warrants.
Consequently, no cash or other distribution will be made to the holders of the
Remaining Warrants.
Application has also been made to delist all of the warrants from the Official
List.
