Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (the 'Company') announces that, it has received
notification on 31 January 2008 that Jeremy Wilson, Chairman, has purchased 622
ordinary shares in the Company at a price of GBP 156p per share.
Following the foregoing purchase Mr Wilson holds 1405 ordinary shares in the
Company.
The purchase was made pursuant to the savings scheme entered into on 18th
December 2007 by Jeremy Wilson, that is in accordance with section 17 of the
Model Code, to purchase £1,000 worth of ordinary shares in the Company on a
monthly basis funded each month from the net proceeds of Mr Wilson's director's
fees.
