BLOOMSBURY PUBLISHING PLC ('the Company')
DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING
The Company was yesterday informed that Mr A V Wherry, a director of the
Company, yesterday exercised options over 34,206 ordinary shares of 5p each
('Ordinary Shares') pursuant to the 1994 Approved Executive Share Option
Scheme (in respect of 24,090 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of £1.038
per share and 3,777 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of £1.008 per share)
and the 1994 Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme (in respect of 6,339
Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of £1.008 per share).
The Company was also yesterday informed that Mr Wherry yesterday sold 4,200
Ordinary Shares at £8.65.
Following these transactions, Mr Wherry's beneficial interest has increased to
39,824 Ordinary Shares, which represents 0.23 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
