BLOOMSBURY PUBLISHING PLC 12 August 1999 Bloomsbury Publishing announces that David Reynolds, Deputy Managing Director and Publishing Director, is leaving the company in October to pursue a career as a writer. His first project is to complete a book which is contracted to be published next year. His resignation from the board is effective from 8 October 1999. Nigel Newton, Chairman and Chief Executive, said : 'David Reynolds has made an enormous contribution to Bloomsbury from his role as co-founder through to his commissioning of numerous successful works of non-fiction over the years. We shall miss him greatly and wish him well in his new career as a writer'.
