Result of Meeting
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc ('Bloomsbury' or 'the Company')
At an Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM') of the Company held
yesterday afternoon three ordinary resolutions, as set out in the notice of the
EGM dated 19 August 2005, were passed by the requisite majority. These
resolutions related to the approval of a Performance Share Plan, a Sharesave
Plan and an Employee Benefit Trust. Each of the ordinary resolutions was voted
by a show of hands.
The voting of those members who cast votes toy proxy prior to the EGM on these
ordinary resolutions is summarised in the following table:
