Blue Planet Financials Growth & Income Investment Trusts Nos. 1-10
The Boards of the Blue Planet Financials Growth & Income Investment Trusts No. 1-10, are pleased to announce the
appointment of Dr. Michael Shea CVO, DL, MA, PhD, as an independent non-executive Director of each of the companies.
Dr. Shea worked for ten years as Press Secretary to HM The Queen, and was subsequently the Head of Political and
Government Affairs at Hanson Plc, working directly under Lord Hanson. The longest-ever serving Independent Television
Commissioner Member for Scotland, Dr. Shea has served on many boards, among them nine years on the boards of Murray
International Trust Plc., Murray Income Trust Plc., and Murray Smaller Markets Trust Plc., finally stepping down in
2001. He was for ten tears, a Visiting Professor at the Graduate Business School, University of Strathclyde.
The Boards are delighted to welcome Dr. Shea, and look forward to working with him.
