Issue of Equity
Blue Star Capital announces that in accordance with regular share based payments which were previously notified on 29 June 2011, 25 July 2011, 25 November 2011 and 20 January 2012, the Chairman, Lord Dear; the Chief Executive, Dr Richard Leaver and non executive directors Mr Anthony Fabrizi, Mr Noel Lyons, Mr Peter Varnish and General Sir Michael Wilkes were issued the following shares in the Company (the "New Shares") on 18 April 2012:

The New Shares will rank pari passu with the ordinary shares already in issue. Application is being made for the admission to trading of the New Shares on AIM and dealings are expected to commence at 8.00am on 24 April 2012.

As the Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury its total number of voting rights equals its capital.
