Resignation of Director

BlueRock announces the resignation, effective from today, of Riaan Visser as a director of BlueRock Diamonds plc and as a director of Kareevlei Mining (Pty) Limited, the Company's operating subsidiary in South Africa.

The board of BlueRock ("Board") would like to thank Riaan for the time and effort that he has put into the development of BlueRock since the early years and wish him every success for the future.

All responsibilities previously managed by Riaan are being handled by other board members.  The Board will continue to review the need to strengthen the board with appropriately qualified and experienced members as the Company expands its operations.
